About
In 2017, Katja obtained her Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, with a minor in clinical research, at the KU Leuven University in Belgium. After her graduation, she started working as a clinical study coordinator/clinical research associate at the Antwerp University Hospital in Belgium. She had been working there for two years but decided that it was time for something new. Working and living in New Zealand sounded like an attractive opportunity. Katja has travelled through New Zealand for several weeks and joined MRINZ as a clinical research associate/monitor in February 2020. She has been involved in a variety of projects including the Cold sore study within the Pharmacy Research Network.
