Marina Dzhelali

Marina Dzhelali considers herself a jack of all trades in the medical trial sector. She has worked in clinical research for over two decades, undertaking key diverse clinical experiences in oncology, haematology, and paediatrics, along with many other medical fields.

With a commitment and interest in good clinical practice and compliance, Marina has a strong background in research quality assurance, and works as a GCP auditor in her non-work time. She has expansive knowledge and understanding of the techniques, systems and resources that are deployed to give confidence about the care and control with which research is conducted.

Over the last 22 years, Marina has been heavily involved in development of the New Zealand standard CTR and Indemnity Agreements, and worked both in collaboration, and as a key member, of many national and international clinical research groups, including the NZ Association Clinical Research Board, the Australasian Leukaemia & Lymphoma Group, and the Wellington Regional Breast Cancer governance group.
